Clay Parties

Fancy doing something a bit different to celebrate?!

Why not hold a mobile pottery party, where you can have fun letting your inner artist run wild! You will have the opportunity to use hand building techniques to make an item of your choice (bowl, mug, vase, animal etc, the sky is the limit). I will demonstrate the techniques and support you as you make your piece, but you have the freedom to play with clay and let your imagination run away with you!

Each member of the party will be able to select one finished piece of pottery (extra items are charged at £10 each) that will be taken back to my studio to be fired. You will be given a variety of options for glaze colours and designs, and when the pieces have had their final glaze firing, they will be returned to the party organiser for distribution.

£325 for up to 5 people (£65 for each extra person).

This price includes a 2.5 hour session at your home (or wherever you are holding your party) clay, tools, glaze, firing, and the return of your finished artworks to the party organiser.

A 50% deposit is payable upon booking, with the balance to be paid no later than 48 hours before the party.

Parties can take place anywhere within a 20 mile radius of Uckfield, East Sussex. Further distances may be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Please do bear in mind that the pieces have to be dried slowly, fired, glazed and then fired again, so pots may take up to 4 weeks to be ready during busy periods.
